OAKLAND -- His kingdom for a point guard. That's what Warriors coach Dave Cowens probably would be willing to give up to get the type of playmaker that would make his offense go.

In his official debut as the Warriors' point guard, converted shooting guard Larry Hughes displayed all the problems that Cowens must have imagined in his nightmares. Against the ball-hawking, trapping, double-teaming backcourt of Phoenix's Stephon Marbury and Penny Hardaway, Hughes and his teammates were fortunate if they could even initiate a play in the first half, much less run it to the point of getting off a clean shot.
