Tim Povtak of the Orlando Sentinel reports: Mike Miller, out with a chip fracture on his right foot, spent much of the pregame riding a stationary bike courtside, and dribbling a basketball at the same time. Miller expects to be playing as soon as he spends the minimum of five games on the injured list. Miller said he will test his foot in a controlled basketball workout for the first time on Sunday. He also expects to have it X-rayed Monday, which will clear him for a return to practice next week
"I'll be back for the Sacramento game [Nov. 9)]," he said.
In other Magic news, Orlando inquired about the possible availability of veteran guard Brian Shaw, a former Magic player who was waived by the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday. The Lakers waived him, but they also hoped to re-sign him after the required 48 hours.
