The hot shooting and grit that solidified the Cavs' first win on Friday night was lost in the maze of defeat last night.
It was so bad the Cavs' 20 field goals tied them for third in NBA history for fewest in a game. The Cavs' 25.3 percent field-goal percentage came close to the franchise low of 23.8 in 1970. It was so bad the Cavs once trailed by 33 points. It was so bad Lamond Murray can't wait to wake up.
"I don't know what happened to us out there," Murray said. "It was like we couldn't get a feel for anything. That game was like a bad dream."
Tracy McGrady scored 22 points and Grant Hill had 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead Orlando over the Cavs, 99-69, last night before a crowd of 16,930 at Gund Arena.
Andre Miller, who finished with a triple-double on Friday, led the Cavs (1-3) with 20 points. He also set a career high in free throws made (14) and tied a career-high in free-throw attempts (15).
But the Cavs suffered their second straight blowout home loss, and that upset coach John Lucas.
