Los Angeles -- After finding ways to play themselves out of games in their first two outings, the Warriors got it right this time.

They pulled out a 110-108 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center last night, their first win of the season and spoiling the Clippers' home opener. With 2.1 seconds left, Golden State guard Larry Hughes made a pair of free throws, thanks to a dubious foul call by official Ronnie Nunn to put the Warriors on top for good.

"I didn't know what it feels like to win in the regular season," said Warrior's forward Chris Mills, noting Golden State ended last season with 13 straight defeats.
