Isaiah Rider pulled up to the Pepsi Center at 10:43 a.m. Tuesday in a silver Lincoln Navigator.
At 11:31, he left, a small backpack draped over his shoulder.
The Denver Nuggets waived the 30-year-old guard/forward, as expected, though Rider denied it when a reporter asked him if he had been released.
"Nah, what are you talking about?" Rider said.
Pressed for comment, Rider lost his footing on the steps outside the player's entrance to the Pepsi Center and cursed the reporter.
"You're going to make me (bleep) up my ankle," Rider said. "Why would I talk to you? It's a small world. I'll see you around."
