MAGIC UPDATE: Orlando is struggling after losing three consecutive home games to Charlotte, Detroit and Boston. The Magic are hoping that the nationally televised matchup against Jordan and the Wizards can get them back on track.
WIZARDS UPDATE: The Wizards defeated the Heat in Miami on Friday night, while the Magic were in Washington resting. Jordan has led the Wizards in scoring in 13 of 15 games this season.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Jordan vs. Tracy McGrady should be a treat. McGrady is one of three young players that Jordan cited (the others were the Lakers' Kobe Bryant and the Raptors' Vince Carter) when he announced his comeback, saying he wanted to see what the young guns could do against him. McGrady admits being in awe of Jordan earlier in his career but is making no concessions anymore.
ETC.: The Magic still are without Grant Hill, who will have his injured left ankle examined again today by Dr. Mark Myerson, the Baltimore specialist who performed the surgery on his ankle 11 months ago. Hill said Friday he still expects to return Monday night at home against Memphis, but he is waiting to hear what Myerson says.
