For the many who believed the Celtics would run the Bulls out of the FleetCenter last night to avenge their loss in Chicago last week, it didn't happen. But the Celtics were able to wake up from a second-half slumber in time to register a 107-101 victory over the Bulls, increasing their record to six games over .500 after 20 games for the first time since 1991-92.

Paul Pierce had a monster game for the Celtics with 38 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and four steals, while Antoine Walker added 20 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Rookie Joe Johnson had 13 points and Tony Battie contributed 10 points and 10 boards.
