The Memphis Commercial-Appeal's Ron Tillery has been in Seattle and is now in Memphis.  He's got strong opinions about Dan Issel.

He says that Issel has long benefited from the "good old boys" network in Denver despite his management stint having always been suspect.

He calls Issel "a bobblehead not worth keeping," adding that "there is little proof that Issel's basketball acumen goes beyond locker room banter."

He offers two simple recommendations: Fire him then forget about him.
