Somebody throw the Orlando Magic a fluffy, comfy pillow.

They need to take a nap.

The NBA's hardest-working bunch of guys is winding down a six-game road trip with some bizarre geographical quirks. It began Dec. 8 in Atlanta before taking a looong left-handed turn toward Los Angeles. It concludes today with a matchup against the Seattle SuperSonics.

This marks the second grueling road trip for the Magic, who traveled to San Antonio in early November, came back home for one game, and then went back out west for five games.

"I've never seen anything like this in 15 years of playing," Magic forward Horace Grant said before Orlando's game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night. "The silver lining is that [trips out west are] over with after this road trip. Hopefully, we can salvage this road trip."

Beyond counting wins and losses, the Magic might be wistfully counting sheep as they crisscross America. After a 105-100 victory against Golden State on Thursday -- their only victory in four road games before Saturday -- Coach Doc Rivers considered practice the next day.
