Magic notes: Orlando pulled off its biggest win of the season Sunday night in New York, rallying back from a 16-point deficit in the final seven minutes to defeat the Knicks 94-90. The Magic dominated the game down the stretch, going with a smaller lineup to scramble up the game. Mike Miller and Pat Garrity had critical 3-pointers down the stretch. Tracy McGrady, who scored 29 points, had a 3-point play to tie the game and then hit two free throws to give the Magic the lead. He also blocked Charlie Ward's 3-point try in the final seconds to seal the victory. . . Tonight's game will be the second in the Magic's three-game road trip. The Magic play in New Jersey on Friday. They return home Saturday night to host the Golden State Warriors.
Celtics notes: Boston is just a game back of New Jersey for the lead of the Atlantic Division. The Celtics have cooled off a bit of late, winning just six times in their past 10 games. . . The Celtics are 10-3 at home this season. That is tied with the Nets for the third-best home record in the East. . . Boston defeated the Magic 99-89 on Nov. 29 in Orlando. Antoine Walker dominated the Magic's defense, scoring 30 points and hitting six 3-pointers. The Celtics also held McGrady to 22 points. . . Boston lost three of the four games against the Magic last season. The Celtics are 25-23 all-time against Orlando, including a 17-7 record in Boston.
