WASHINGTON -- If there is such a thing as basketball sensory overload (BSO), the Timberwolves were guilty of inflicting it on anyone paying attention to them over a span of little more than 24 hours Friday and Saturday nights.


Wait a minute -- of course there is such a thing. The city of Chicago experienced an alarming number of BSO cases over a 14-year period in the 1980s and '90s.  Although during Jordan's first and second NBA lives, he never would have said something like: "If the Timberwolves were in the East, they would dominate it."
