Two days after he joined Webber at the All-Star Game, Peja Stojakovic helped him light up the Spurs. Stojakovic's 23 points and Webber's 20 were more than enough as Sacramento ran over the Spurs 99-86 Tuesday night at Arco Arena.

Though the Kings have yet to wrestle away the Larry O'Brien Trophy from the grip of the Los Angeles Lakers, their latest victory served as further evidence that they, not the Spurs, are poised to challenge for league supremacy.

Sacramento, which owns the NBA's best record at 38-12 and a nearly unblemished 26-1 home mark, has now won four straight over the Spurs, including all three meetings this season. After being blown out by the Kings in the fourth game of the season ? the 103-83 Nov. 4 defeat is still their largest of the year ? the Spurs began the second half of the season in almost identical fashion.
