Jud Buechler won three championships playing with Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, which set up a nice contract for himself with the Detroit Pistons when the dynasty was dismantled back in 1998.  Buechler was then moved onto Phoenix before being relayed to Orlando, and is this the end of the line?

Buechler was placed on the injured list Tuesday for what the team claimed was a lower back strain as the Magic signed ex-Spurs forward Jaren Jackson to fill his role.  If Jackson?s debut is any indication of the future, playing 22 minutes ? including the entire fourth quarter ? as the Magic pulled out a come from behind victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Buechler?s season might be all but over.

While Orlando?s playoff roster is far from already set, Buechler already believes he will not be included.

"I enjoy what this team has done," said Buechler. "The only disappointment I have is really in myself. I don't feel I've played the way I'm capable of playing."
Jackson, meanwhile, after declining offers to join the Hawks and the Grizzlies is just happy to be on a contender.

"There's an identity here that these guys have established," he said. "And I'm just real glad to be a part of it."
