There was a time, not long ago, that Larry H. Miller wasn't sure how much longer, if at all, he wanted to own the Jazz.
On Thursday ? the same day he announced plans to build a $5 million practice facility for the NBA franchise he and wife, Gail, have owned for 17 seasons ? Miller made it clear he intends to stick around for the long haul.
"I went through a real struggle," Miller said. "We all go through ups and downs, but I got to a low point where I just really questioned whether it was really worth it for me personally.
"I can handle dealing with negatives and with problems, but at some point things just wear you out, and you say 'Why am I doing this?' And I went through enough of that, for probably about a year, year-and-a-half ? about two years ago."
