The Jazz played Detroit on Friday night without forward Andrei Kirilenko, who hurt his back in Utah's loss at Washington on Thursday night.
     
Kirilenko was diagnosed with a lower-back strain, and the decision was made about an hour before Friday's game that he would not play.
     
"I can't move well," he said.
     
His status for Utah's game at Toronto on Sunday was uncertain as of Friday, but Kirilenko wants to play.
     
"I hope so," he said.
