Karl Malone is feeling the full weight of his $19.2 million contract this season, a burden compounded by a four-game losing streak.

"When we're losing," Malone said before heading to Dallas for tonight's game with the Mavericks, "it comes back to me because I'm getting paid the most on the team."

Malone's numbers are down across the board, but the dropoff on the road has been especially notable.

Until this season, the Mailman had been a model of remarkable consistency, averaging 23.8 points a game at the Delta Center over the past four years, and 23.6 points a game on the road.
