Keith Smart gets to relive his ultimate victory this month, while wallowing in defeat.

Every March, Smart does interviews, signs autographs, watches replays and generally revels in his greatest moment, the short jumper he made to deliver Indiana its 1987 national championship over Syracuse.

"I always know when it's getting close to the tournament because that's when my phone starts to ring with interview requests," Smart said. "When I die, my name won't even be on my tombstone. It'll probably say, 'Here lies the guy who made the shot.' "
