Justin Reed, Ole Miss' leading scorer the past two seasons, ultimately faced a shot he just wasn't ready to take.

The 6-foot-8 All-SEC junior forward passed on entering his name into the NBA Draft Monday and will return for his senior season. Underclassmen had until late Monday night to declare their intentions for next month's draft.

Reed, a former Provine High standout and the SEC's freshman of the year in 2001, said his decision was motivated by some unfinished business ? both on and off the court ? he felt needed to be resolved next season.
