Michigan State forward Erazem Lorbek has decided to withdraw from next week's NBA draft, his father, Radovan, said Wednesday.

"He wanted to wait for a better moment," Radovan said.

Speaking from the Lorbeks' home in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Radovan said his son will play professionally in Europe this year and will re-enter the NBA draft next year, when he has a better chance of being a first-round pick. The 6-foot-10 forward cannot return to MSU because he has signed with agent David Bauman of SFX Sports Group. Lorbek, however, will likely earn six figures playing in Europe.
