Denver Nuggets GM Vandeweghe said it is likely the Nuggets will ask their second-round draft pick (No. 46), whomever it is, to play overseas initially. He said the large number of young players on the roster and the need for veterans makes it doubtful that pick will be with the team.

"With 46, unless you get the special kid, we'll look to perhaps put him overseas," Vandeweghe said.
