Count Alonzo Mourning among those who will be paying keen attention to Thursday's NBA Draft.

"A lot of it depends on this draft coming up," the Heat center said Monday about his impending free agency. "It pretty much depends on what direction the Heat organization wants to go in."

Should the Heat use the No. 5 selection on a power player, it could send a signal.

"Knowing that [leaving] is a possibility, I don't want to have to do that," Mourning said. "A lot of my colleagues have to do that every year. You just deal with it -- it's business -- and move on."

Mourning offered his thoughts during his annual charity, Zo's Summer Groove Golf Classic at Doral Golf Resort and Spa. He plans to return to the NBA, after sitting out this past season with a kidney illness that since has gone into remission.
