According to Forbes, it pays to be The Mailman.

Unveiling its latest "Celebrity 100" list, the money magazine's July 7 cover story ranks Jazz free-agent Karl Malone, a.k.a The Mailman, 65th in income earned and 73rd in wealth, media exposure and influence.
     
Forbes says Malone earned $18.5 million from June 2002 through June of this year, although his contract with the Jazz actually paid him $19.25 million for the 2002-03 NBA season.
