Andre Miller barely knew anybody in Denver. He said he never really had seen the city during the day.

Miller spent five years at the University of Utah, and enjoyed it. He has plenty of friends in Salt Lake City.

Advantage Utah in free agency?

Hardly. Miller, a Clippers restricted free agent, said Monday the reason he chose to sign an offer sheet with the Denver Nuggets rather than the Utah Jazz was to play in an environment in which he would have fewer distractions. The Clippers have until July 31 to match a six-year offer that could be worth as much as $55.5 million.
