A Washington Post story could spell trouble for the Jazz's chances at landing Los Angeles Clippers restricted free agent shooting guard Corey Maggette.
The Post is reporting that Golden State guard Gilbert Arenas has decided to accept a six-year offer from the Washington Wizards, meaning the Clippers should now match the reported six-year, $60 million offer sheet extended from Utah to Maggette.
Jazz exec Kevin O'Connor, however, left Utah's Rocky Mountain Revue game Monday not knowing for sure if the Clippers really planned to match on Maggette.
