Kurt Thomas is expected to sign a rumored four-year $30 million contract extension by Wednesday.

Thomas told the Daily News that he will take a physical today, which is probably the last step before the deal is finalized.

"It's getting close," Thomas said. "Hopefully, something will happen this week."
