The Beacon Journal is reporting that Dan Gilbert will turn his attention towards Larry Brown to become the Cavaliers' next General Manager.
Brown is of course still under contract with the Pistons and has experienced a series of health problems, which would likely be problematic for him to takeover such a demanding job.
Gilbert is a Detroit guy and he would love to turn the Cavaliers into a brand that is very similar to the Pistons' organization.
Other rumored names include Danny Ferry, B.J. Armstrong, Pacers' executive David Morway and Pistons' executive John Hammond.
The next GM of the Cavaliers will be making the most important decisions in the franchise's history. Over the next few years, LeBron James' core will begin to solidify.
Expectations in Cleveland are very high and making the playoffs will be an absolute requirement.
