The 76ers worked out former local star Dajuan Wagner in private after the team's morning rookie/free agent camp session Friday in Philadelphia.
Wagner, a 6-foot-2 guard, is a free agent because the Cavaliers, who made him the sixth pick in the 2001 draft after one season at the University of Memphis, declined to offer him a fourth-year qualifying offer of $3.59 million.
It's unclear if the session was anything more than a chance for the Sixers to take a look at the 22-year-old Wagner, who is best known for scoring 100 points in a high school win over Gloucester Tech.
The Sixers declined comment on the matter.
