The frustration from the incessant losing keeps mounting, and Larry Brown has a history of moving from one job to another. But yesterday he vowed he wasn't going anywhere.
"I'm in this for the long haul," the Knicks coach said before last night's 101-99 loss to the Grizzlies that ensures his team will have a losing season. "I'm not giving up. I'm going to help Isiah, help Mr. Dolan and help these players."
Brown was referring to Knicks owner James Dolan, who yesterday sounded curiously upbeat in assessing the state of the team. Brown thinks that he deserves much of the blame for the 15-42 record, but considers himself lucky to have such a positive owner.
