With Shaquille O'Neal set to enter his 16th season and Alonzo Mourning contemplating retirement, the Heat could be in the market for a center to add youth and depth to the roster.

Former University of Pittsburgh center Aaron Gray auditioned for the role Wednesday during a predraft workout at AmericanAirlines Arena.

A day after working out primarily guard prospects, the Heat turned its focus to frontcourt players as the team considers what it will do with the No. 20 pick in the June 28 draft.

The Heat does not own a second-round pick, although it could acquire one in a compensation deal with Orlando should the Magic follow through with plans to hire former Heat coach Stan Van Gundy.
