Phoenix guard Steve Nash has decided to invest in professional women's soccer league, according to the Associated Press.

"I look at my childhood and realize how many athletes I had to look up to," Nash told the AP. "I look at the opportunity to put some of these wonderfully talented athletes who are dedicated and committed and put them in a setting to inspire a whole generation below them."

The deal that will bring Nash in as an investor will be announced Tuesday by the Women's Professional Soccer league which is based in San Francisco.
