Mark Jackson says that it's time for him to move on from the sting he felt after being passed over for the head coaching job with the Knicks, according to The New York Post.

"I'm over a lot of things in life. I'm excited about being able to call the NBA Finals. I have an outstanding job. I'm having the time of my life," he said.

Jackson has spent the season working for AB, and will work alongside Jeff Van Gundy and Mike Breen during the NBA Finals.

"I was honored to be considered [by the Knicks]," Jackson said. "I'm also honored to be calling the NBA Finals. Things work out for a reason."
