Magic coach Stan Van Gundy has confidence in rookie Courtney Lee, but Mickael Pietrus could reclaim his starting job once he returns to full health.

Pietrus was signed as a free agent last summer to be a starter, but has been in and out of the lineup this season because of injuries.

"I really don't know," Van Gundy said of Pietrus reclaiming the starting role. "MP has the size and athleticism at [shooting guard]. We need to be bigger there some nights. He has to get back to being healthy. He has been in and out of the lineup and it's disruptive. We'll see where he's at before we make a decision."

Van Gundy is confident that Lee can handle the defensive load as well.

"Courtney has a chance to be really good defender," Van Gundy said. "The thing about it is he's usually giving up size every night, so he has to be close to perfect. But he definitely has the quickness to stay close to people."
