Ray Allen shot the Celtics to a dramatic win over the Bulls on Monday night, allowing the defending-champions to avoid the dreaded 0-2 hole.

Ray Allen drilled a three-pointer with 2.0 seconds left in regulation to push the Celtics (1-1) past the Bulls (1-1) on Monday night. Allen led with 30 points on 9-for-18 shooting, Glen Davis posted 26 points and 9 rebounds, and Rajon Rondo stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, 16 assists and 12 boards in the victory. Chicago shot 50% from the field, but Boston won the rebounding battle by 14, including an amazing 21 offensive rebounds. Ben Gordon starred with 42 points on 14-for-24 shooting, Brad Miller tallied 16 points and 9 rebounds, and Derrick Rose added 10 points, 7 assists and 6 boards in the loss. The Spurs (1-1) jumped out to an early lead and never really looked back against the Mavericks (1-1) at the AT&T Center.
