Paul Pierce hit a few key jumpers to push the Celtics (3-2) past the Bulls (2-3) in yet another overtime game at TD Banknorth Garden. Rajon Rondo starred with 28 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds, Kendrick Perkins posted 16 points and 19 boards, and Pierce added 26 points and 7 boards in the victory. Boston shot 48% from the field, while holding Chicago to 40% on Tuesday night. The Celtics shot tremendously well from the fourth quarter on, and turned the ball over just 10 times. Rashard Lewis scored 24 points on 9-for-16 shooting, Hedo Turkoglu tallied 9 points and 5 rebounds and Howard put up 24 points and 24 boards in the victory. Orlando won the rebounding battle by twelve, while attempting four more foul shots than Philadelphia. The Magic won each of the individual quarter battles, outscoring the 76ers in each. Andre Iguodala led with 26 points and 5 rebounds, Andre Miller posted 17 points and 6 assists, and Willie Green scored 16 points on 7-for-15 shooting in defeat. Orlando rookie Courtney Lee left the game in the first quarter after taking a blow to the head and did not return.
