Magic rookie guard Courtney Lee has been cleared to play just two days after having surgery to repair a fractured sinus cavity.

However, Lee won't play in Game 1 of Orlando's second-round series, against either Chicago or Boston, and could miss at least the first two games of the series.

The Magic want Lee to be comfortable playing in the protective mask he will be forced to wear.

He was injured in Game 5 of Orlando's first round series against Philadelphia when teammate Dwight Howard inadvertently elbowed him in the head.
