Magic assistant coach Patrick Ewing has guaranteed that his team will come out victorious in Sunday's Game 7 against the Celtics.

"Even though I'm not playing, I'm guaranteeing a win," Ewing said to ESPN Radio 980 in Washington.

Ewing was famous for his predictions as a player with the Knicks. Beginning in 1994-95, he predicted a championship for three straight years. All three years New York came up short.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers, who spent time with Ewing in New York during his playing days, is happy with the former center's prediction.

"We feel great about that," Rivers said. "I've been on those Knicks teams where he had some predictions. The thing I have with predictions is, what else are you going to say? Should you just say no? But the Patrick prediction makes me feel better."
