Mikki Moore didn't make it off the bench much in Boston's second-round series against Orlando, but he'd love to return to the club next season.

"I would love to be here," Moore said. "No doubt."

Some consider a return doubtful due to the fact that he didn't get much time down the stretch, even with Kevin Garnett and Leon Powe out with injuries.

Moore acknowledged that the Celtics haven't discussed a return with him, but still likes his chances to make a mark.

"With me coming in during summer and for veterans camp, it's a clean slate," Moore said Sunday. "Right now I'm like at a handicap. I came in late and haven't been playing. My timing's off. But just being able to concentrate on one playbook and one role and knowing how to play with each player, it'd help out a lot.

"I was talking to Cliff (Ray, the C's assistant coach), and he says everyone thinks I've been here all year, but I've only actually been here about two and a half months. It's kind of difficult to get the chemistry right, know everything and just try to pack it in to that short time. But getting a fresh start in the offseason will be great."
