The NBA is reviewing what took place during and after Sunday's game between the Hornets and Celtics.

Penalties could be handed out after tempers flared between Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo.

The league office confirmed Monday that they were reviewing the actions of Paul and Rondo. The pair tangled under the basket in the second quarter and both received a technical foul.

Reports claim that the two continued to exchange words after the game and that Paul had to be restrained from entering Boston's locker room.

Paul denied the claims on his Twitter page: "... [Just] to clear this up I never came close to approaching the Celts locker room last [night]. Not sure where that's coming from. Also me [and Celtics assistant coach Tom] Thibodeau never got in a shouting match. We talked. ... [Too] much respect for him, crazy how it's twisted."
