Celtics coach Doc Rivers underwent an outpatient throat procedure at a Boston hospital on Sunday.

Rivers wasn't at the team's practice on Monday.

"He feels good, but the doctor doesn't want him using his voice, so it will kind of be day-to-day," assistant Lawrence Frank said at practice noting the surgery had been planned.
