The Spurs won't rush to make a roster move in the wake of Tony Parker's injury.

The point guard will miss at least two weeks of action.

San Antonio is exploring the possibility of signing "six or seven" players recently freed from contracts with other teams, but coach and president of basketball operations Gregg Popovich said the club does not feel compelled to add a point guard.

"It’s not really about the point-guard position," Popovich said. "Chris [Quinn] has been here all year long and knows what we’re doing. We can use Manu [Ginobili] in some situations, and I look at George [Hill] like Latrell Sprewell. You can play him 60 minutes a game."
