While the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers have been most strongly connected to a potential trade of James Harden, Shams Charania of the Athletic reports that the Golden State Warriors made an inquiry on Harden as well.

Talks have yet to really progress between the Rockets and either the Nets or Nets.

"I think you had several teams inquire," said Charania on the Complex Load Management podcast. "The Warriors, at one point, made a call for James Harden."

Because Harden cannot become a free agent until 2022, the Rockets are in no rush to trade him.

The Rockets are seeking a star level player or a high rotation player, possibly other deals and as many draft picks and pick swaps as possible.

"I heard that one a little bit before the injury to Klay," said Charania of Golden State's interest.
