Miles McBride will forgo his eligibility at West Virginia and keep his name in the NBA Draft, he told ESPN.

McBride, currently the No. 33 ranked player in the ESPN 100, elevated his status with a strong pre-draft process.

"The main reason was the feedback I got from the NBA's undergraduate advisory committee. Being drafted in the late first to early second round is what I've heard the most," said McBride.

McBride shot 41.4% from 3 last season while also being considered an elite defender.

"My defense will hopefully allow me to see minutes, and if I can knock down shots, I'll be able to carve out a role early in my career," added McBride.
