Jamahl Mosley has emerged as the strong frontrunner to become head coach of the Orlando Magic.

Conversations are ongoing but Mosley has separated himself from the other candidates. 

Mosley's reputation in player development and his ability to build relationships and hold players accountable have resonated with Magic management.

Steve Clifford and the Magic mutually parted ways with the team last month.
