The Boston Celtics are adding Sam Hauser on a Two-Way contract for 2021-22. Hauser went undrafted out of Virginia at the 2021 NBA Draft.

Hauser was a four-year college player. He started his college career at Marquette before transferring to Virginia for the 2020-21 season. Hauser took advantage of the early entry rules for college seniors and chose to stay in the draft, as opposed to returning to UVA for a bonus season.

The 6'8'' sharpshooter was very nearly a 50/40/90 player as a senior and for his career. In his final college season, Hauser averaged 16 points per game on 50.3% shooting overall, 41.7% from behind the arc and 89.6% at the free throw line. He also grabbed 6.8 rebounds per contest.
