X-rays and an MRI revealed that Tyrese Maxey has no fractures in his sprained right hand, Philadelphia 76ers head coach Nick Nurse said on Monday.
Nurse added that the team are still working on a timeline for Maxey's return.
"No breaks," Nurse said. "Now, he's got to see the hand specialists to figure out what's next."
Maxey was originally ruled out for the Sixers' back-to-back games on Monday and Tuesday.
Nurse said Maxey sprained the same pinky last year, which "adds to the concern factor."
Maxey is averaging 29.0 points and 6.7 assists on the year.
