Victor Wembanyama returned from a one-game absence Saturday to deliver a commanding 32-point, 12-rebound, eight-assist performance with four blocks and two steals, leading the San Antonio Spurs to a 115-102 victory over the Charlotte Hornets at Frost Bank Center.

The outing marked Wembanyama's second career game with at least 30 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, multiple blocks and multiple steals, tying him with George Gervin for third in franchise history in such performances behind Tim Duncan (9) and David Robinson (19), per ESPN Research.

"It's just a progression, in general," Wembanyama said. "There were many aspects of the game where we dominated them."

San Antonio closed its six-game homestand 5-1 and improved to a league-best 17-2 since Feb. 1. Wembanyama started swiftly, scoring 11 first-quarter points on 4-of-7 shooting before reaching 18 at halftime. He showcased his playmaking in the second half, setting up two alley-oops for center Luke Kornet and finding Stephon Castle for a two-handed reverse dunk in the fourth quarter.

"It's one more weapon," Wembanyama said of his passing ability. "My playmaking most of the time happens by rolling and not even touching the ball. But I can do that, too."

Wembanyama had sat out Thursday's loss to the Denver Nuggets after testing a sore right ankle during warmups. He can miss three more regular-season games before becoming ineligible for NBA awards consideration.
