The Boston Celtics are signing two-way player Max Shulga to a two-year standard contract. This deal will cover the remainder of this season and next for Shulga.

Boston had to sign two players by Sunday, in order to meet NBA roster rules of having at least 14 players signed to standard contracts. The Celtics are signing Charles Bassey to a 10 Day deal to bring the roster back up to 14 players.

Shulga has appeared in 36 games this season for the Maine Celtics of the G League. He's averaged 15.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.6 steals for Maine. Shulga has shot 36.7% on 6.7 three-point attempts per game.
