Oklahoma City Thunder wing Jalen Williams left Wednesday night's 120-107 Game 2 victory over the Phoenix Suns with an apparent left hamstring injury in the third quarter and did not return, casting uncertainty over the remainder of the first-round series.

"We think he aggravated his left hamstring," Mark Daigneault said. "We'll take a look at it in the next couple of days and update you guys appropriately."

Williams grabbed his left leg after missing a contested layup on a fast break with 6:26 remaining in the third quarter, appeared to mouth the words "Left hammy," and intentionally drew a foul shortly after to exit the game. He went directly to the locker room and did not speak with media before leaving Paycom Center.

Williams had been exceptional through two postseason games after injuries restricted him to just 33 regular-season appearances. He posted 22 points, seven rebounds, and six assists in Game 1, then added 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting and four assists in 23 minutes before exiting Wednesday.

"Any assumption about time missed is just hypothetical at this point, so I'm not going to comment on that," Daigneault said. "He was playing an outstanding game."

Williams, a third-team All-NBA selection last season, played through a torn scapholunate ligament in his right wrist during Oklahoma City's championship run before undergoing surgery. He missed the first 19 regular-season games recovering from that procedure and twice sat out extended stretches this season with a right hamstring strain.

Oklahoma City leads the series 2-0. Game 3 is Saturday in Phoenix with the Thunder favored by 9.5 points over the Suns.
