Jayson Tatum was ruled out of the Boston Celtics' Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night due to knee stiffness.

"He just came in today with knee discomfort," Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said during his pregame media availability a few minutes after Tatum was ruled out. "And we decided, the medical staff and myself, that he would not play."

Tatum left the Game 6 with left calf tightness.

"I expect to play," Tatum said following Game 6. "It was my other leg, not the one I injured last year. I mean, I wasn’t like overly concerned."

Tatum is averaging 23.3 points and 10.7 rebounds in the first round.
