The Brooklyn Nets are asking for two first-round picks in a deal for Dorian Finney-Smith, sources told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

The Mavs, Heat, and Sixers have previously registered interest in Finney-Smith.

Finney-Smith is averaging 10.8 points and 5.5 rebounds on the season.

The Nets are also reportedly looking for a protected first-round pick for Royce O’Neale.

Cam Thomas has been listed as doubtful for the Brooklyn Nets' game against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday.

Thomas has been out for the previous three weeks due to a left ankle sprain.

Jacque Vaughn said last week Thomas could return to team activities this week. 

Thomas is leading the Nets in scoring at 26.9 points per game. 

Ben Simmons will miss at least one more week due to a pinched nerve in his lower back, the Brooklyn Nets announced.

Simmons has started light individual on-court work. The team will announce another update in 7-10 days.

Cam Thomas is expected to rejoin the team workouts next week after suffering a sprained ankle on November 8. 

The Brooklyn Nets are unlikely to pursue a trade for Zach LaVine, sources tell Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.

The Nets only have Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson under guaranteed contracts for the 2025 offseason while LaVine is signed through at least 25-26.

The Chicago Bulls are beginning to evaluate their trade options on LaVine.

Ben Simmons has been diagnosed with nerve irritation on the lower left side of his body and is out indefinitely.

Simmons has missed the past three games for the Brooklyn Nets.

Simmons is averaging 6.5 points, 10.3 rebounds and 6.7 assists in 31.8 minutes over six games this season.

Jacque Vaughn stated that Ben Simmons was still day-to-day with a hip issue.

“He received treatment, and he’ll continue to receive treatment. Just not in the place where all parties around feel comfortable with him playing at the levels that he’s been playing it," said Vaughn.

Simmons missed his second straight game on Friday night against the Celtics.

Simmons is averaging 6.5 points, 6.7 assists, and 10.8 rebounds on the season.

Thompas has averaged 26.9 points and 3.8 rebounds over eight games this season for the Brooklyn Nets. 

The Brooklyn Nets signed Keon Johnson to a two-way deal, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Johnson was most recently waived by the Suns.
